I grew up in Nebraska, came to Colorado to play in the snow and pursue the dream. Around 1987 found myself at Red Rocks Community College for a Computer Digital Electronics degree. 1990 started with the U.S. Department of Commerce, NIST working with the Microwave Metrology group. 1991 married the women of my dreams, blessed me with two beautiful girls and still going strong today. In the same year continued my schooling at Colorado State University for an Electronics Engineering degree. 1992 transferred to NOAA working in the Space Forecast Center. 1995 came back to NIST to work for the Time and Frequency group at Radio Station WWV & WWVB.
Lan DelaneyFinance Coordinator
I was born in Vietnam and came to America in 1992 with my parents. We lived in Fort Collins, Colorado until I met Mike Delaney. We married and moved to Ault, Colorado in 2001. The Lord has blessed us with three handsome boys: Joseph, Joshua, and Jacob.
My husband and I own and operate a local electrical contracting business for the past twelve years, and we are excited to continue to see it grow. We love camping, traveling, and the outdoors. One of our goals is visit all the natural places and national parks, we want to see and enjoy our Lord’s creation.
I feel very blessed and thank the Lord every day for bringing me to a new promised land. He has built me up, and brought healing to my life. I know He has incredible plans for us, and I am excited to discover them. We only live once and it’s a short period of time so don’t waste our lives and lets serve Him and give back to our community.
I am excited to be an Elder at Living Hope Community Church! I have been serving as an Elder since 2010. It has been an honor to be a part of the leadership of this church, and to have served alongside so many great people. I look forward to see how God will continue to use this church, and the impact it will have on peoples life that it will reach. To God be the Glory!
Erik PowersSharehouse Coordinator
I moved to Colorado in September 2001 and married my lovely wife Fernanda six weeks later. We have lived in Nunn since then, enjoying the eclectic communities of the Highway 85 corridor for more than a decade now. The Lord has blessed us with four wonderful children who continue to amaze us with their creativity and energetic spirits. He has also blessed us with the chance to serve cooperatively with the churches in our area that supply food, manpower, and money for the Sharehouse ministry. The Sharehouse provides a place where community members can share what they have and so meet each others’ physical needs while also developing friendships and fellowship with each other. Through this ministry and others we continue to work and hope that “they may be encouraged in heart and united in love.”

Ginger DarringtonWorship Leader
I joined the team at Living Hope in August 2014. I like to say worship started when I was very young. My mom was in labor while my dad was leading worship for the Sunday service. When the songs were finished they made their way (across the street) to the hospital and I arrived 15 minutes later! I am passionate about worship and unity in the body of Christ. Along with leading worship here at LHCC, I direct the Northern Colorado Praise Choir, which is a commUNITY choir of worshipers lifting high the name of Jesus.
When I am not working on songs for weekend services I am usually giving private voice lessons. My husband and I own a business performing professional firework shows and special effects. So, I tell my students they need a t-shirt that says, “my voice teacher is a pyrotechnician”. I am a hobbiest chicken farmer with a flock of up to 50 and I LOVE the mountains – I was born in the mountain town of Craig, Colorado. Relaxing in the mountains is therapy for my heart
I am excited to be the pastor at Living Hope Community Church! God clearly brought us here 4 years ago, and it has been exciting to see Him at work in our family and in our church. Together, we are endeavoring to see LHCC grow and mature into a church that is passionately seeking God and reaching out to the world with the gospel.
As a bi-vocational pastor, I also run my own videography business. My wife (Audra) and I have five daughters: Naomi, Rachel, Sarah, Joanna, and Bethany.
A few other important things to know about me:
- Rook is my all-time favorite game. (Catan is a close second. Star Trek version. Read on.)
- Star Trek (The Next Generation) was the best show ever on TV.
- I love music (listening or making it).
We feel honored and privileged to serve this community and church, and look forward to all God has in store!
